Asthma history
The word asthma gets its origin from Greek word aazein which means sharp breath. This word first appeared in Homer’s Iliad. The first person to use this in the medical term was Hippocrates. According to Hippocrates’s belief he thought that asthma would mostly affect the tailors, anglers and also the metal workers. After six centuries Galen was the one who gave some information on asthma. He told that asthma was a condition when there is an infection that occurs in the bronchia of any person. This situation might occur when there is complete or partial bronchial obstruction. After it Moses and miamodines wrote a lot of treatment techniques for asthma. The main uses of bronchodilators began in the year 1901. The anti inflammatory concept was recognized after a long time in the year 1960, this was the time when they were basically added to medicinal world.
